MASTERRIND EXCLUSIVE - DIE AUKTION in Verden 2026
With a 100% sales rate, a rush of around 2,900 EXCLUSIVE fans, and an overall impressive level of interest in the exquisite auction lot, MASTERRIND concluded its event MASTERRIND EXCLUSIVE – THE AUCTION on February 25, 2026, at the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden.
The range of highly tested genomic animals was of particular interest to buyers. It is therefore not surprising that the most expensive animal sold, with a hammer price of €34,000, went to an ambitious flagship breeding farm in the MASTERRIND breeding area. WEH Sainz Barbara P RC, as the top seller is called, comes from Jürgen Hintze's genomic breeding program in Trebel and stands out not only for her polledness and red factor, but also for her perfect combination of index and profile.
A homozygous hornless daughter of the Synetics bull Race Red P, ZB Race Lana Del Rey Red PP, from the Henning Böttjer farm in Gnarrenburg, known for numerous successful sales in the genomic sector, impressed with superb breeding values on a German and British basis and ultimately went to a buyer in the Netherlands for €28,000.
The Synetics bull Major Tom is currently making waves across the country with superb daughters who are presenting high genomic values across the board. This is also true of ZHW Major Tom Batida from Volke/Hauck GbR in Bad Arolsen. Added to DIE AUKTION at very short notice, she impresses as the world's No. 1 among Major Tom daughters with an incredible 163 RZG and 140 RZE, as well as other high scores. What's more, she is considered an outcross from an attractive cow family. Once again, a successful breeding farm from Lower Saxony won the bid for €25,000.
My Keanu Avenue from Anna Meyer in Damme was also interesting in terms of genomic testing, but mainly on the basis of US breeding values. She changed hands for €10,000 and will also remain in Lower Saxony.
Engelke's Ella from Kastens Holsteins GbR in Stuhr was sold for €9,500, making her the most expensive calved cow. With her outstanding pedigree and impressive appearance, which is already reflected in a VG-86 classification, she will also remain in the breeding area.
A total of 62 calves, pregnant and calved, were auctioned at an average price of €7,698 in a brisk auction. There was also enormous interest online, as demonstrated by 4,500 viewers simultaneously watching the livestream. Several bids were also won by customers who bid online in this hybrid auction.
On Thursday, February 26, 2026, thousands of viewers are once again expected to tune in for the 52nd Schau der Besten.
